Most people fail their driving test. If you are not getting it right all the time without your instructors help THEN YOU ARE NOT READY TO TAKE YOUR TEST.The current pass rate is only 42%. For first time candidates it is even lower.

Statistics show that new drivers are more likely to have an accident within the first two years of passing their test than at any other time in their driving career.

Department for Transport figures show drivers aged between 17-19 are six times more likely to have a drink-drive crash than drivers aged 30-34 and nearly half (48%) of drink drive crashes involve drivers under 29.

Direct Line insurance have identified that more than a third of youngsters have instruction from their parents but 7% (875,666) have had accidents.

Learn and Live (The Parents Campaign for Safe Driving Tuition) states that 1 in 3 male drivers aged 17-20 have a serious crash within two years of passing their test.
