You shouldn't think that once you have passed your test and gained your full licence that you have nothing more to learn. The pass plus syllabus has been specially designed by the DSA. It provides structured additional learning, which develops your existing driving skills and knowledge in a wide range of traffic situations not covered in the practical test.

There are six practical modules which cover driving in town, rural roads, night and all weather driving, dual carriageways and motorways. The minimum completion time for the course is six hours

There is no test at the end of pass plus as your driving will be continuously assessed throughout all six modules. On completion of the course we will complete a Training Report Form which will then be sent to the DSA. Successful students who have achieved this high standard will then receive a certificate of completion.

The pass plus course can be taken at any time during your driving career, however the course is aimed at new drivers within a year of passing their test. New drivers who have passed their test could significantly reduce their car insurance premiums or get an extra no claims bonus with many insurance companies. The savings you make may enable you to recover the cost of you pass plus tuition.
